Adventure Travel Trade Association Releases Keynote Speakers for Oct. 4-7 Adventure Travel World Summit
Headliners for the 2007 Adventure Travel World Summit include: the CEO of the United States’ newest air carrier, the developer of the world’s only hybrid rocket motors used for human spaceflight, a futurist who’s one of the world’s most respected practitioners of the science of man, a nationally syndicated adventure/exploration television show host, the president of the original ‘voluntourism’ adventure tour operation, and the tourism minister of the autonomous northern Iraqi region of Kurdistan.

Employees and employers would benefit from legislation to ensure that we're taking enough vacation
A growing movement of nonprofits, citizen advocacy groups and trade associations is trying to change all that. Take Back Your Time, a national organization with more than 10,000 members, has declared getting a federal vacation law that guarantees Americans at least three weeks of paid vacation a top priority issue this year. They are joined by Joe Robinson, author of the 2003 book Work to Live and a work/life balance coach, and the Adventure Travel Trade Association, among others.
