M-ROCK camera bags was founded by Michael Rockwell in January of 1995. Michael was born in London during a rare snow blizzard on New Years Eve 1961. Michael grew up and was educated in England, but always dreamed of moving to USA where he landed in 1989.

After five years in southern California Michael headed for Colorado where he established M-ROCK in January 1995. Michael has always had a passion for the outdoors and especially the alpine environment, having spent most of his family vacations in the Swiss Alps of his mother’s homeland.

From the very start M-ROCK’s primary goal has been to make top notch quality and user-friendly camera bags, with outdoor, travel and adventure enthusiasts first in mind. M-ROCK camera bags safely protect their contents and are also convenient and comfortable to use.

The photo industry was a little conservative and it took time to warm towards M-ROCK’s many outdoor orientated features. But after 11 years M-ROCK has created a loyal following. Now we are looking to expand beyond the photo arena into the outdoor and adventure travel markets.

As a new ATTA Member, M-ROCK hopes to generate new awareness towards ATTA from the many photographers that enjoy our products, while exposing M-ROCK to an exciting and sophisticated market.
