Firecloud Adventures is operated by people passionate about adventure, we understand the need to scale mountains, trudge through bushveld and creep up to watch a herd of elephant cavort in the mud. The sheer exhilaration of having experienced something new, and having visited a destination whose day to day is so different from your normal life of modern convenience. And mostly, because we simply love being in God’s playground - the rugged mountains and wide open wildernesses. Africa is a continent of wild and immense beauty and it’s usually found in the most unexpected places. Travelling with Firecloud Adventures you won’t get a safari in a box, we hope instead that when you return home it will be with fond personal memories, and a heart to return again and again to explore Africa more!

Firecloud Adventures was founded (in 2003) by a group of like-minded adventure enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who are passionate about travel, people and Africa. Our products are include bush and city walking tours, treks and mountain climbing trips, mountain bike explorations, kayak and rafting expeditions, overland safaris and more relaxed beach and bush adventures. Focusing solely on East and Southern Africa, we know our destinations well and love taking our clients on lesser know trails, creating unique and personalized tour experiences.

Firecloud Adventures provides all inclusive tour packages in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Madagascar.

Some of our standard tours include: Bush walking safaris, Mountain hikes and treks, Mountain climbing expeditions, Mountain biking explorations, Multi-sport tours, Kayak expeditions, White water rafting, horse trekking, beach tours and bush and wildlife tours. Our clients are mostly travelers wanting to explore Africa’s diverse scenery, in different destinations, experiencing the culture, and seeing the wildlife and sometimes scaling a few mountains in the process. Most tours include an active component but itineraries can be tailored to suit clients fitness levels and abilities.  We welcome opportunities to work with international travel agents and tour operators.
