Founded in 1993 by Rani Chandresh Kumari (Princess of Jodhpur), former Member of Parliament.

With Rani Chandresh Kumari as the chairperson, Royal Expeditions has the right mix of travel savvy people as its top management. The Managing director is Vishal Singh Shankhla. Vishal is a graduate in hotel management and an MBA and has been closely associated with the tourism and hospitality industry in India.
