Extreme Ireland is at the forefront for the adventure industry in Ireland. All of our staff have years of experience in the outdoor business. Last year was the first year that we got together in order to create a company that can provide affordable tours for everyone. We specialise in hiking tours, all our guides are mountain leader qualified and certified outdoor first aiders i.e. REC 3 at a minimum.

We travel the length and breadth of Ireland to bring a unique Irish experience to our guests. We organise tours for groups of up to 16 but can cater for more. Generally we only allow 16 people up on the mountain with any one guide but it is possible to have more than one guides.

Ireland has been lacking behind the rest of the world in utilising its natural environment for the benefit of walkers, hikers, kayakers and the like. We have numerous natural resources that are free, beautiful and all within easy access. Extreme Ireland provides our clients with the opportunity to see this at first hand. The time of sitting on a bus is over. We want people out there getting dirty and feeling great because of it.

Our tour choices are top class and reviews from our clients over the last year has been outstanding with many returning customers for 2008. Our accommodation choices are picked purely to make people comfortable at the end of a hard days hiking or doing adventure activities. Our mode of transport is comfortable buses that have loads of space. Activities on our tours include kayaking, surfing, cycling, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, quad biking, bog snorkelling and learning to play Irish music!

Our primary customer base would be people already with outdoor experience and within 18-60 age brackets. From research we have found that many people come to Ireland for two weeks. They want to spend a few days in Dublin with the rest hiking. We try to keep everyone happy on our tours and realise that it costs enough money to come to Ireland without having to pay exuberant amounts of money for tours. Having travelled extensively around the globe ourselves we cater for all budget travellers. But saving money does not sacrifice comfort or excellence as you will find out.

We have a special interest in working with tour operators in other countries for marketing and business sharing opportunities. There are many companies that send tours over to Ireland and I would like to get in contact with them so see how we can work together in the future.
