Sales Specialist Position Available - Experience in Russia (required), Central Asia,
Central/East Europe and/or China
MIR Corporation (www.mircorp.com) is an established adventure tour operator known for its expertise in Russia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. We are seeking an extremely enthusiastic, intelligent and highly motivated individual to join our Seattle headquarters team as a sales specialist.
Qualifications Include:
- Proven success in a previous sales position
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- International travel experience in Russia (required), Central Asia, Central/East Europe and/or China
- Ability to take initiative to grow sales and meet or exceed sales goals
- Strategic planning and creative thinking skills
- Strong prioritizing, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of people including prospective travelers and travel agents, as well as with marketing and operations staff
- A strong desire to learn more about MIR’s destinations
- Proficiency with Mac OS X and FilemakerPro database
