(Prior experience of off-road mountain biking essential)
Scotland has regularly been voted the world’s No.1 destination for mountain biking by the International Mountain Bike Association and this short journey with Wilderness Scotland and GO-WHERE will allow you to experience why.
Designed for those with a good level of fitness and previous experience riding off-road trails, the route takes the high road to the summit, travelling through the wild glens and mountains of the Cairngorms National Park to end right at the summit venue in Aviemore.
Cairngorms National Park is the largest national park in Scotland. This point-to-point bike journey takes you on a route through the southern and western edges of the park, riding through isolated backcountry glens before finishing in Aviemore.
The route follows mainly natural trails and is not way marked, so it is quite possible we won’t see any other riders over the course of the 3 day trip. Along the way your guides will bring the landscape to life and provide you with an insight into Scottish wildlife, history and culture. In the evenings, relax in comfort at locally owned hotels and guest houses where local produce and malt whisky are the order of the day.
