Transformative Thinking
Fast-paced (15 minutes each), thought-provoking talks meant to leave a positive and lasting impression – talks that inspire us, transform us, and can lead to heightened levels of innovation, creativity and productivity. Each talk builds upon the other….tied directly to this year’s Share & Inspire theme, the topics are building blocks, designed to create an atmosphere and tone that the ATTA hopes colleagues in the industry will consider as we collectively pursue a sustainable future. For both Transformative Thinking sessions, 15 minutes will be made available for moderated Q & A with each of the three speakers on stage.

Collaborative Learning
Before the 2010 Adventure Travel World Summit, the ATTA will have logged months of work with numerous companies tracking successes and failures concerning the defined Collaborative Learning topics. These companies will cover the difficulties and challenges in a 15-minute opener that stimulates Delegate minds and helps to set contexts for subsequent group discussions. Each round table discussion, led by your executive-level peers, will encourage other Delegates to share and explore the real-world case studies that are presented, along with the chance to introduce their own experiences. Through sharing, Delegates will gain insights on timely subject matter, gain a better understanding of peer issues, increase networking opportunities and gain practical tools, insights and actionable plans.

Strategic Solutions
Subject matter experts deliver strategic insights and take-way concepts on core topics that can be employed immediately back at the office and in the field of operations for high return-on-investment.

Meet the Press
Dramatic shifts in travel journalism have turned the world of media relations upside down. Magazines have perished, newspaper staffs have been cut, and freelance journalists are struggling to cope, all while new opportunities with social media, blogs and digital media options proliferate. Delegates will get the rare chance to hear from an expert media panel, then move to a round-table format (divided into specific subject matter and areas of expertise) to discuss the current PR and travel journalist climate, discover new strategies and outlets, and meet with dozens of esteemed international Web, newsprint, TV, radio and magazine journalists.

In these 90-minute workshops, experts will deliver quick-study programs with take-to-the-office-tomorrow tactics and tools for immediate application.
