Chunnie is the owner of the Law Office of Chun T. Wright, a DC-based law firm. Chunnie serves the legal needs of adventure travel companies to help them build, grow, sustain and protect their businesses. As an avid adventure traveler who understands and shares the same values as the adventure travel industry, she combines her extensive legal experience and industry insight to create tailor-made legal solutions for her clients.  Chunnie’s clients include award-winning tour operators, travel agents, outdoor recreation companies, travel-related publishers, and companies that provide technological solutions for the travel and outdoor recreation industry. Chunnie advises her adventure travel clients on a wide-range of legal issues, including contracts, risk management, international business, corporate formation, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, worldwide intellectual property protection, Internet and e-commerce, and more. Chunnie is a frequent speaker on important legal issues that affect adventure travel companies.

Chunnie’s legal experience includes a vice president position at the trade association that represents U.S. videogame publishers, private practice litigation positions at major law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, federal prosecution as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia under then-U.S. Attorney Eric H. Holder, Jr., and a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Emilio M. Garza of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She received her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law and her B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

A lifelong traveler, Chunnie lived in Italy for three years and has explored over 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. Some of her most exciting adventures include the Everest Base Camp trek, rock climbing in Thailand, safari in South Africa, scuba diving in Fiji, and journeying through Tierra del Fuego and the Magellan Strait.
