ci logoAdventure travel companies worldwide are encouraged to participate in a new series of ATTA/Conservation International (CI) Web-based seminars (Webinars) dedicated to Good Practices for those businesses operating in Mountain, Tropical Forest and Marine ecosystems around the world.  ATTA and CI are collaborating to ensure that Good Practices Guides, Training and Tools are available and accessible for operators in the adventure travel market.

Topics addressed in the Practical Guide to Good Practices (PGGP) Webinars for each ecosystem include:

  1. Environmental protection and sustainability
  2. Economic sustainability
  3. Cultural protection and sustainability
  4. Historical/Archaeological protection
  5. Customer Safety
  6. Customer Satisfaction

Three Practical Guide to Good Practices Webinars are planned.  Mark your calendars for the dates/times that are relevant to your adventure travel business operations:

  • Mountain Ecosystems -- Tuesday, August 21 – 10AM PDT -- Completed
  • Tropical Rainforest Ecoystems -- Thursday, September 6 – 10AM PDT
  • Marine Ecosystems -- Tuesday, September 18 – 10AM PDT
