Steve has worked for over 15 years in the high tech industry (both software and internet businesses) as a program manager, training manager, business manager and general manager.

Steve started his career at Microsoft managing early versions of Word localization, and then spent several years at Expedia.com as GM of their advertising business unit. He originally developed the Peer Mentoring Workshop to help engineers at Microsoft deliver on-the-job training to their peers and now delivers that program internationally.

He was an advisor to Altrec.com in the launch phase of that company and has offered assistance from time to time to the successful startup.

Steve’s adventure traveling has taken him from the North Pole to the Equator, spending time in Indonesia, Thailand, Costa Rica, Myanmar, and Nicaragua.

Steve currently lives in Seattle with his family where he is the President of Solution Strategies, Inc., an organizational development consulting and training firm.
