Join us for a unique look into adventure tourism and accessible adventure in Nepal in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 26, with the Nepal Embassy and the International Development Institute.

We’ll be welcomed by a Nepal Ambassador and a brief presentation highlighting the latest in adventure tourism in the country. Following that, our friends from the International Development Institute will share some important takeaways from the International Conference on Accessible Adventure held last month in Pokhara, Nepal, which focused on international best practices in inclusive tourism for “slow-walker” senior and mobile disabled travelers.

At this Thursday evening social AdventureConnect at the Nepal Ambassador’s Residence, enjoy a welcome drink and appetizers, courtesy of our Nepali hosts. There will be time to further connect with other adventure travel trade folks, so remember to bring your business cards and please register below as space is limited.

As a part of the ATTA’s overarching mission to serve as the hub and facilitator for responsible, profitable adventure travel businesses, destinations and media, AdventureConnect events offer our vibrant communities a chance to connect, network and grow. These events are hosted locally in destinations or conferences where the adventure travel community naturally gathers. AdventureConnects range from casual networking to group outings to structured peer-to-peer or educational roundtables. Access the full AdventureConnect event calendar for events near you.
