The Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau and Warren County partners are thrilled to welcome AdventureELEVATE delegates to the Lake George region and have just announced activities for the 10 June Day of Adventure for delegates.
Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, Lake George region sits among 6 million acres of preserved wilderness.
Spend the day hiking Tongue Mountain followed by paddling, channel your inner cowboy or cowgirl at an authentic cattle drive, or navigate the single-track bike trails of Garnet Hill. For those looking for a laid-back pace, enjoy traditional meditative hiking or “forest bathing,” rail-biking along the former northern rail lines near the Hudson River, paddling or kayaking at 13th Lake or a relaxing hike through the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.
With so many great adventures to choose from, we look forward to having you experience as much as possible in our region.
During AdventureELEVATE, we look forward to sharing our rich history and local flavors from our many craft beverage producers. We also invite you to join us for a traditional Adirondack BBQ and rodeo.
You might be surprised to learn the Adirondacks have a 90-year history of dude ranches and recurring rodeos, and is still home to a scenic byway called the Dude Ranch Trail, which makes a 40-mile loop through Lake George, Lake Luzerne, Stony Creek and Warrensburg. While the number of ranches and rodeos along the trail has diminished significantly over the years and there are only four today, you will have the chance to experience a true Adirondack rodeo on your final night at AdventureELEVATE.
We welcome you to the Lake George Region and look forward to seeing you in two months.
