Today, the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s online and mobile networking portal opened for delegates attending AdventureELEVATE. All event delegates can now connect with other delegates, send direct messages and meeting requests, and create a personalized schedule.
The online networking plays a key roll in appointment setting for the more structured networking event at AdventureELEVATE called AdventureExchange. Built upon MediaExchange and Marketplace events, the three-hour AdventureExchange allows delegates to maximize their time at AdventureELEVATE by pre-scheduling meetings in advance. AdventureELEVATE’s delegate roster for 2019 reveals a rich cross-section of adventure travel leaders, especially those based or with business interests in North America, including tour operators, outfitters, suppliers, accommodations, adventure travel destination representatives, travel advisors, writers, and journalists, along with supporting industries. AdventureExchange allows for meetings between all of these delegates.
“We have customized the features of our event networking platform, enabling all AdventureELEVATE attendees to quickly tell others about themselves, their areas of expertise, and what types are partnerships they are seeking,” said Nikola Mladenovic, technical expert for AdventureELEVATE. “This feature will be key at AdventureExchange where pre-set appointments allows for maximum use of networking time.”
AdventureELEVATE delegates talk about the value of community connections.
Take full advantage of AdventureELEVATE by checking out the robust features in advance. Check the event agenda and build your customized agenda so you don’t miss anything of interest — plus view at a moment’s notice where you have unscheduled free time. Given all the activities taking place at AdventureELEVATE, using the site’s messaging service ensures you can make the most of networking breaks and that free time by connecting with colleagues in advance.
In addition to AdventureExchange, AdventureELEVATE will be packed with numerous chances to meet and connect with other delegates. The Disruptive Networking Adventure (D.N.A.) Happy Hour, a novel and fun yet structured way to make business contacts, will return this year. Additionally, delegates should ensure they connect with the attending media during MediaConnect.
