Discover the magic of winter in Banff on the Day of Adventure, March 13, 2018. Skiing or snowboarding, ice trekking or ice climbing, and snowshoeing are a few of the ways you can experience the allure of Banff, Lake Louise, and the Rocky Mountains covered in snow.
The Day of Adventure is free of charge to all registered AdventureELEVATE delegates. Activities are subject to change, have limited space, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one Day of Adventure registration accepted for each delegate. All adventures conveniently depart from the Banff Centre, the venue for AdventureELEVATE.
The Day of Adventure is made possible by Banff & Lake Louise Tourism and with the commitment and support of The Banff Centre, Discover Banff Tours, White Mountain Adventures, Yamnuska Mountain Adventures, SkiBig3, and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
There are inherent risks in the activities offered during the Pre-ELEVATE Adventures, Day of Adventures, and throughout the event. The ATTA highly recommends that all AdventureELEVATE participants purchase travel insurance to provide the level of protection and support you require during your involvement at AdventureELEVATE and during Pre-ELEVATE Adventures and Day of Adventure activities. The ATTA encourages delegates to consider purchasing travel insurance with ATTA’s Travel Insurance Partner – World Nomads. Additional ATTA travel insurance and safety/medical member providers include: AIG, Global Rescue, and Ripcord – powered by Redpoint.
Travel Alberta and Banff & Lake Louise Tourism have arranged for other entities to provide indoor and outdoor activities for the AdventureELEVATE participants. By choosing a Pre- and/or Day of Adventure tours, you recognize that neither the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), nor its agents, servants, employees, and/or officers, are in any way responsible for any activities conducted by other entities. You further agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to either the selection of the other entities or the suitability of the entity to provide the indoor or outdoor activity. You recognize and understand that the safety laws, regulations, and requirements for any indoor or outdoor activity may vary widely from your home country’s similar laws, regulations, and requirements. You also understand that medical care in the host destination may differ from your home country and you agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to medical services.
