Media Application

Thank you for your interest in attending AdventureELEVATE. It is the ATTA’s intent to establish long-term relationships with travel journalists who specialize in adventure tourism. This process will help us to bring the most appropriate media to our events as well as better serve your editorial interests year round. Please fill out the following questionnaire and provide the appropriate information as defined below. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Please note: Publishers and copy editors do not qualify for media badges. To qualify as print and newswire media, reporters must provide in the media outlet section of the application:

• A website(s) that shows your name listed as part of the reporting team.
• Links to bylined articles related to the adventure travel/tourism/outdoor industry published within the last four months.

To qualify as media for online publications and blogs*, reporters must provide in the media outlet section of the application:

• A link to a current page of your online publication with your name and title appearing in a reporting capacity.
• Links to bylined articles related to the adventure travel industry/tourism/outdoor published within the last four months.
• Evidence of regular, current writing related to the adventure travel/tourism/outdoor industry; writing/blogging must be your main professional activity.

*The ATTA prefers to work with online media outlets with established track records in covering adventure travel topics. We give consideration to outlets that have been in continuous operation for at least six months and that reach at least 20,000 visitors per month. To qualify as broadcast journalists and photographers, reporters must:

• Register separately so that each member of a broadcast crew is applying.
• Link to the broadcast outlet’s website with your name listed as a member of the editorial team.
• Upload a letter from a producer/editor on company letterhead that states you are covering the Summit. This can be submitted with your CV/Bio.

Registration for credentialed editorial media representatives is at a reduced fee of US$150, and includes most meals, access to all sessions, panels, keynote presentations and evening galas. Flights and hotel costs are not covered. Media must apply to attend as a limited number of media spots are reserved.
