Una Forza

Music and travel are both irrepressible in their power to connect and unify people, regardless of origin, culture or boundaries. Music touches our hearts and builds camaraderie among listeners. Likewise with travel, emotional ties are made to a place through new experiences, friendly hosts, knowledgeable guides and bonds created with new friends. Music and travel both tap into our most pure emotions and urges – to connect with each other and to be our best selves.

Globally recognized musicians who have seen music bring people together are keenly aware of the effect tourism has on travelers and inhabitants of Latin America. Join us for a unique opening plenary session – a soundscape journey from the Caribbean to the Andes to the Amazon – with a mixture of music and storytelling to delight the ears and unite us as one force over the course of AdventureNEXT Latin America and beyond.

This session will be presented in English and translated to Portuguese.

In this closing session, leave with a lasting gift of inspiration from sociologist Tania Zapata as she shares her stories, ideas, and perspective on the power of humans, individually and collectively, to reshape the trajectory of business and conservation. With a passionate message to the delegation, Zapata shares how our sense of purpose not only delivers happiness and joy in our lives, but has the powerful potential to improve lives linked through tourism all across Latin America.

This session will be delivered in Portuguese with translation to English.
