All AdventureNEXT delegates are invited to experience some of the best of the Balkans on three- to five-day adventure itineraries in Macedonia and its Partner Destinations. The early-release adventures featured below offer delegates an opportunity to get “a taste” of the Balkans through activities offering a wide array of physical, cultural and nature-based experiences.
Explore the region through hiking, mountain biking, wine-making, walking ancient Roman sites, paragliding, picnicking with a monk, sailing or heading into the mountains to work with park rangers on a bear conservation project.
All adventure package prices listed include meals, accommodation, transportation, guide/escort and activities. You are welcome to select a Pre-AdventureNEXT Adventure AND a Post-AdventureNEXT Adventure; a selection of buyers and journalists will participate as fully hosted delegates.
ATTA anticipates adding additional PRE and POST adventures in the next few weeks when currently negotiated Destination Partnerships are finalized.

Pre adventures will be three to five days long, starting on May 5 and ending on May 9 in Ohrid.
POST 1-6
POST adventures start after AdventureNEXT (May 13) and end no later than May 18.

There are inherent risks in the activities offered during the Pre- Adventures, Day of Adventures, Post-Adventures and throughout the event. The ATTA highly recommends that all AdventureNEXT Balkans participants purchase travel insurance to provide the level of protection and support you require during your involvement at AdventureNEXT and during Pre-, Day of and Post-Adventure activities. The ATTA encourages delegates to consider purchasing travel insurance with ATTA’s Travel Insurance Partner – World Nomads. The Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism in Macedonia has arranged for other entities to provide indoor and outdoor activities for the AdventureNEXT Balkans participants. By choosing a Pre- and/or Day of- or Post Adventure tours, you recognize that neither the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), nor its agents, servants, employees, and/or officers, are in any way responsible for any activities conducted by other entities. You further agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to either the selection of the other entities or the suitability of the entity to provide the indoor or outdoor activity. You recognize and understand that the safety laws, regulations, and requirements for any indoor or outdoor activity may vary widely from your home country’s similar laws, regulations, and requirements. You also understand that medical care in Macedonia may differ from your home country and you agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to medical services.
