Thank you for your interest in applying to be considered to attend the Adventure Travel World Summit 2020 as an Official Media Delegate.
The Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) is the preeminent opportunity for adventure travel industry professionals to gather from around the world for networking, education and inspiration.
Selected Official Media Delegates will learn about new companies and trends in the adventure tourism space, discover stories from operators and destinations, and form new lasting relationships. Immersive adventure activities on Pre-Summit Adventures and the Day of Adventure will give travel media the chance to discover the Australian way of life and delight in intimate encounters with nature and culture.
In the interest of maintaining a healthy dynamic of diverse business interests in the final event delegation, there are a limited number of 50 Official Media Delegate spots at the Summit, both fully-hosted (30) and discounted (20). Selections for fully-hosted spots will be made from the pool of applications received. (More details on hosted and discounted spots below.)
Schedule:
If selected, the entire trip length will vary in duration up to seven days prior to the event depending on the final selection of Pre-Summit Adventure (PSA) options (4-6 days in length) plus the travel time from your origin city. The Summit itself is 6-9 October, preceded by an Australian Marketplace on 5 October (required attendance by Official Media delegates participating in multi-day adventures, so five event days total including Day of Adventure on 6 October), and return departures 10 October, 2020.Optional Post-Adventures will also be available to media, which would extend the stay 3-5 days.
