COVID-19 Information

We are all ready to travel again, to see familiar faces, and to connect with new ones. ATTA, Japan, and Hokkaido are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and planning an event that will bring our global community together this September. At this point, we are moving forward with a LIVE event. We will also be having a HYBRID event for the first time ever, this means a virtual event will happen simultaneously along with the live event. If the ATWS needs to be cancelled due to COVID-19, then there will be a VIRTUAL event. The HYBRID or VIRTUAL event is $299/$349 USD, the same price as the deposit for the LIVE event.  A decision will be made by the end of May if the LIVE event needs to be cancelled.

If you know you want to go to the LIVE event:

  • Pay the ‘Save My Spot’ price of $299/$349, which is also the price of the HYBRID or VIRTUAL event. The balance will be due on June 1st, 2021.

or

  • Pay the full price to go to the LIVE ATWS. If the event is cancelled, you would receive an account credit, less the $299/$349 that will be used for the VIRTUAL event.

If you are unsure about attending the LIVE event, but would like to attend the HYBRID or VIRTUAL event:

  • Pay the ‘Save My Spot’ price of $299/$349

Our commitment is to keep you updated on the destination’s policies, services, and processes to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.

During the LIVE event we will ask delegates to follow the World Health Organization prevention suggestions, as well as the Japan, Hokkaido, and the Sapporo Convention Center’s policies. At this time those guidelines are as follows:

  1. Wash hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  2. Maintain at least 2 metre/6 feet distance between you and others.
  3. Avoid touching your face.
  4. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
  5. Stay home/in your hotel room if you feel unwell.
  6. Wear a mask in public places
  7. We strongly encourage you to acquire traveler’s insurance, including COVID-19 insurance to be prepared.
